Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Asheton Mariam Hike
Fly to Lalibela and visit the unique Nakute Leab cave church on your way from the airport. After lunch, enjoy a scenic hike to the Asheton Mariam Monastery for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Day 2: Full Day Rock-Hewn Churches Tour
Spend the entire day exploring the UNESCO-listed monolithic churches. Visit the Northern cluster in the morning and the remaining Southeastern and Western clusters in the afternoon, including the iconic Bete Giyorgis.
Day 3: Departure to Addis Ababa
After a final morning in the holy city, transfer to the airport for your flight back to the capital.
