Full Day: Falls & Monasteries
The day begins with a morning drive from Bahir Dar to the Blue Nile Falls. You will walk through the landscape to explore the waterfall and its surrounding cliffs before returning to Bahir Dar for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip across Lake Tana, the largest lake in Ethiopia. You will visit the Zege Peninsula to see the beautiful monasteries of Ura Kidane Mehret and Azwa Maryam, both known for their stunning 16th-century paintings and ecclesiastical treasures. Return to Bahir Dar in the late afternoon.
